Winik Media specializes in the preservation and digitization of sports film. We recently acquired a sports film library spanning the past 50 years and digitized it for commercial use. In addition, Winik Media scanned over 500 hours of 16mm film to 4k for, "The Last Dance", a sports documentary event showcasing Michael Jordan's final championship season, coming in June to ESPN & Netflix.
Who We Are
We're an independent production studio that specializes in developing, producing and distributing sports content. Founded by Gregg Winik following a successful run at NBA Entertainment, Winik Media serves as a consultant and production partner for media companies, sports leagues & teams, and advertisers.
Currently serving as Executive Producer on The Last Dance documentary series for Netflix and ESPN, and supervising Winik Media’s production of NBA Rooks for ESPN.
